Exercitii pentru buna functionare a creierului

Este un fapt bine cunoscut ca exercitiile fizice imbunatatesc sanatatea corpului per total, dar aceasta doza de sanatate pe care o castigam dupa fiecare antrenament se distribuie si la nivelul creierului.

Capacitatea mentala este imbunatatita atunci cand facem sport in mod regulat, pentru ca exercitiile fizice creeaza schimbari la nivelul creierului, care protejeaza si imbunatatesc memoria si procesele de gandire.

Pe scurt, in timpul vietii noastre, creierul are constant capacitatea de a creste si a se repara, iar noi putem sa il ajutam prin activitate fizica regulate. Orice tip de miscare este buna, dar studiile medicale arata ca sunt niste activitati care dau rezultate mai bune:

  1. Mersul pe jos

Pe măsură ce îmbătrânim pierdem din masa musculară și țesuturi, chiar și creierul este afectat.

Exercițiile de cardio cum ar fi mersul pe jos, alergatul și înotul pot dezvoltă creierului, mai mulți neuroni se dezvoltă și sunt menținuți în regiuni importante ale creierului, cum ar fi hipocampul, care este responsabil cu învățarea și memoria. Pentru a obține rezultate, faceți 10 000 de pași pe zi și participați la activităti cardio, cel puțin trei zile pe săptămană.

  1. Dansul

Datorită diferitelor mișcări și a nevoii de sincronziare, necesare în dans, creierul tău muncește din greu pentru procesarea unei sarcini cognitive superioare. Într-un studiu publicat în Psychology of Sport and Exercise, participanții vârstnici care au participat la o clasă de dans aerobic de 40 de minute au prezentat o capacitate cognitiva îmbunătățită atunci când in timpul antrenamentului s-au introdus noi mișcări sau o nouă secvență de dans.

  1. Sala de forta

Intr-un studiu facut pe persoane cu varsta intre 65-75 de ani, antrenamentul cu greutati a arătat o îmbunătățire a regenerarii materiei albe din creier. Asta nu inseamna ca efectul este valabil doar pentru seniori: Tesutul mort in materia alba poate fi vazut si in creierului celor cu varsta de 40 de ani, ceea ce poate duce la un risc mai mare de a dezvolta dementa mai tarziu.

De aceea antrenamentele cu greutati sunt o metoda foarte buna de preventie a deteriorarii functiilor cognitive.

Orice activitate fizica este mai buna decat niciuna, asa ca nu rata nici o ocazie sa faci miscare, oricat de putin are parea pe moment.

Sportul, in general, imbunatateste sanatatea corpului si starea de spirit, insa exercitiile de tip cardio sunt cele mai benefice pentru creier.
