Cycling: Forța pedalei fie cu tine

Ultimele cercetări arată că cea mai eficientă metodă de a începe în forță antrenamentele este să urci în șa, să asculți muzica și să pedalezi în ritmul ei. Ce mai aștepți?

Dacă echipamentul din lycra și antrenamentele pe șosea nu sunt chiar feblețea ta, află că cyclingul indoor este la fel de eficient și chiar mai comod. Un studiu recent efectuat de Les Mills International și Universitatea Loughborough din Anglia arată că antrenamentele de cycling sunt cea mai bună metodă de a începe să faci mișcare. Trei clase pe săptămână te pot ajuta să pierzi în greutate, să reduci tensiunea arterială și să scazi nivelul colesterolului. Pe scurt, să reduci riscul bolilor de inimă și al obezității.

Sănătate pentru inimă, tonus pentru mușchi

Studiul mai arată că cyclingul este recomandat și pentru reducerea stratului de grăsime din zona abdominală. Participanții la studiu au scăzut trei centimetri din talie, urmând programul impus de cercetători.

Bryce Hastings, Head of Research Les Mills spune că cyclingul este una dintre cele mai bune metode de a evolua și de a crește intensitatea antrenamentelor în siguranță. "Tot ce trebuie să faci este să urci pe șa și să îți miști picioarele. Studiile noastre arată că muzica bună și instructorii bine pregătiți încurajează oamenii să își depășească limitele, continuând să vină la aceeași clasă. Așa ușor se formează obiceiurile."

Dacă vrei să-ți îmbunătățești antrenamentele cardio, să slăbești și să te distrezi în timp ce faci toate acestea, mergi la o clasă de cycling. Studies show that practising eight weeks of pilates for one hour, every day, four times a week can increase metabolism and reduce obesity in obese women.
In older adults, another research showed pilates training improved balance and helped prevent falls.
