Sauna – Beneficii nebanuite

Saunele sunt populare de mii de ani, mayasii foloseau saune acum 3000 de ani, in Roma antica baile publice aveau sauna si la popoarele nordice sauna este prezenta de mai bine de o mie de ani. Nu degeaba toate aceste mari culturi au ales sa intretina si sa dezvolte acest obicei: exista foarte multe beneficii pentru sanatate.

Astazi sauna moderna se imparte in doua mari categorii: sauna uscata si sauna umeda (cu abur); Principiul care lucreaza asupra corpului este in general acelasi, inclazirea pielii si organismului pana acesta transpira, dar diferente o face nivelul de umiditate si modalitatea de incalzire a aerului.

Exista tone de informatii despre cum sauna este benefica pentru sanatatea si fitness-ul tau, cele mai comune sunt curatarea pielii, detoxifierea si pierderea in greutate, iar in acest articol vor fi cateva dintre cele mai interesante beneficii pe care le poti avea daca alegi sa practici aceasta metoda de relaxare si detoxifiere.

  1. Detoxifiere

Cel mai evident beneficiu, insa sauna se pare ca este cel mai bun detoxifiant natural pe care il avem si functioneaza atat de bine incat ne ajuta sa scapam de metale grele, pesticide, DDT

  1. Combate imbatranirea si ne face mai longevivi

Un studiu facut in Finlanda pe 2315 barbati (42-60 ani) timp de 20 de ani a descoperit ca cei care foloseau sauna de 2-3 ori pe saptamana, fata de cei care mergeau doar o data, aveau o probablilitate cu 23% mai mica sa moara dinorice cauze legate de sanatate. Pentru cei care mergeau la sauna de 4-7 ori pe saptamana probabilitatea era cu 40% mai mica!

  1. Mobilitate imbunatatita si recuperare fizica mai rapida.

Prin activarea proteinelor de soc caloric, masa musculara se construieste mai repede si se recupereaza mai usor dupa efort, la fel si incheieturile devin mai mobile.

  1. Circulatie mai buna si imbunatatirea intregului sistem cardiovascular.

Sauna relaxeaza arterele, face vasele de sange mai flexibile, reduce presiunea arteriala si imbuntateste ritmul cardiac. Pentru cei care au probleme cu inima, sauna nu este recomandata decat in cazul in care medicul o recomanda.

  1. Imbunatateste performanetele mentale, repararea neuronilor si formarea de noi neuroni.

In timpul saunei secretia de norepinephrine si prolactina, care ajuta sistemul nervos. In timpul saunei nivelul de norepinephrine se mareste de 2 pana la 4 ori, iar cele de prolactin de 2 pana la 10 ori.

  1. Imbunatateste starea de spirit si ajuta impotriva depresiei

Cand corpul este supus la stres termic, creste secretia de endorfine din corp, care la randul lor imbunatatesc starea de spirit.

Este indicat sa petrecem maxim 15 minute in sauna si de fiecare data poarta papuci, stai pe un prosop curat si fa un dus pentru curatarea pielii dupa sauna.
