Check-in Procedure: 

The check-in and the attendance to classes are allowed only if the member presents his/her membership card and has uploaded a picture in the member profile to attest his/her identity.

If a member forgets his/her membership card, he/she must pay 15 RON as replacement fee. Once the member gets a new membership card he/she can perform the check-in procedure. No check-in or attending to classes is allowed without the identification of the member based on his/her membership card under any circumstances.

Booking Procedure:

The members must pick-up their group fitness booking ticket latest 10 minutes before the class starts.

The booking system runs the waiting list. Members on the waiting lists that are not checked-in in the allowed time frame are cancelled. Only the checked-ins are allowed to participate to the class.

Members in the reception waiting for a spot will be able to be booked by the reception within the limit of available places and enter the class.

If the member is late but checks-in prior to the class starts, he/she will NOT get a penalty even though his/her booking was cancelled.  A “no show up” or check-in after the class starts attracts penalties.

If the member is late but still comes before the class starts, he/she can attend as drop-in.

Lockers Usage Procedure:

All lockers shall be emptied after usage. World Class undertakes the right to empty all lockers at end of each working day, when lockers will open automatically, or be opened.

The personal belongings or others in the lockers, will be stored in a sealed plastic bag in designated storage room.

Digital Guest Passes Usage:

The Digital Guest Passes can be activated only online through the Member Area or the APP. They cannot be activated in the reception under any circumstances.

The member can send the invitation and instructions to a friend via SMS.

The Digital Guest Passes cannot be used by the Member him/her self.

The same invited person can only use one Digital Guest Pass in a 15 days period.

A Guest Pass cannot be given to or used by minors.

The Digital Guest Passes cannot be accumulated with other campaigns or benefits.

Membership Freeze Procedure

Membership freeze policy – Regular
The membership can be placed on freeze only by the subscription beneficiary, via Member account area or World Class APP.

The freeze option can be applied only to 12 months paid/invoiced memberships. Vouchers – of any kind – or other memberships cannot freeze.

Annual memberships can be placed on freeze two times up to maximum total of 30 days.

Regular freezing cannot be done retro-active, only in the future.

Membership freeze policy – Medical

Request a medical freeze by sending an email to medical@worldclass.ro including request form and medical certificate. Documents will be checked for validity and process accordingly to medical recommendation.

The membership can be on freeze as long as the medical period requires by medical certificate.

The medical freezing request can only be submitted within 30 days retro-actively.

 

*The new and updated rules & regulations will come into operation starting January 14, 2019.

  1. Access is not allowed if under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  2. You are required to cover your street shoes during your visit in the club.
  3. Every client – World Class member or guest – must register at the reception.
  4. Members will have access to the club only by membership card which must be presented at each visit. All non-members are required to present an ID and to sign our “Terms of Use” and “Visitor card” forms in order to enter our facilities.
  5. All World Class members are required to be photographed by our staff and included in our database for identification and legitimate use of the member card.
  6. All members are kindly asked to deposit their personal belongings in lockers or safe boxes at the reception desk. World Class is not responsible for personal belongings stored in lockers, changing rooms or other training areas.
  7. Taking pictures and filming without management approval is strictly prohibited.
  8. Respect the opening and closing hours of the club. It is mandatory to leave the club at closing time. Access in the exercise areas is not allowed after closing time. Day Time members can use the facilities every day from opening hour to 4 pm (checkout time should not be later than 4 pm; please check the club’s schedule posted at the entrance for opening hours).
  9. Access of minors:
    • Minors ages 0 to 12 have free access only to the pool, from 9 am to 6 pm*, only if they are accompanied by a parent who is a member of World Class.
    • Minors ages 12 to 16 can benefit of a special price membership only with written approval of a parent/legal guardian and will have access to some of our programs (please ask our staff for more information).
    • Minors ages 16 to 18 can purchase a membership only with written approval of a parent/legal guardian and can use all our facilities.
  10. All clients are asked to be respectful with each other and not create commotion in the club resulting in moral and physical injuries (physical violence, insults or emotional disturbance of other members).
  11. Smoking is forbidden in this location (including electronic smoking device).
  12. Please respect all our club’s rules.

*Exception 1: at World Class Otopeni, Atlantis, Le Club, Caro and Asmita children have access from 9 am to 9 pm.
*Exception 2: at World Class Militari children have access from 9 am to 8 pm.

  1. Children aged between 0 and 12 years old have free access to the pool between 9 am and 6 pm* all week.
  2. Children aged under 12 must be supervised by a parent, World Class member, at all times.
  3. Showering is mandatory before entering the pool.
  4. Running around the pool and jumping in the water are forbidden.
  5. Appropriate swim attire is mandatory.
  6. We strongly recommend wearing a swim cap.
  7. Infants and toddlers should always wear swim diapers in the water.
  8. Slippers and T-shirts are mandatory in other areas, when temporarily leaving the pool area.
  9. Report any unsafe conditions or violations of the rules to the management immediately.
  10. Individuals assume the risk for any injuries sustained while using pool facilities.
  11. Access is forbidden for people presenting contagious diseases, infectious conditions such as colds or fever, skin cuts, inflammation of the eyes or any other condition that may be harmful to other participants.
  12. Always practice water safety and courtesy to others.
  13. Please do not block the swimming lanes.
  14. Access with food and alcohol is forbidden in the pool area and in the water.
  15. No filming or photographing is allowed in the pool area or in the water.

*Exception 1: at World Class Otopeni, Atlantis, Le Club and Caro children have access from 9 am to 9 pm.

*Exception 2: at World Class Militari children have access from 9 am to 8 pm. Also, the pool access until 9 pm is granted to children enrolled in swimming lessons. 

  1. In order to participate in class, please register via World Class Web page or at our reception, collect your ticket and present it to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
  2. No mobile phones are allowed in the Group Training Studio.
  3. When attending a group fitness class, please make sure you arrive on time.
  4. Entrance into a class in progress is not allowed. In progress means when the instructor began to lead the workout or the music started. Please respect the class schedule.
  5. During class, personal initiatives are not allowed, except with the agreement of the instructor (E.g. doing your own routine, use of the dumbbells, anything that interferes with the class program).
  6. Please inform the instructor before the start of the class if you need to leave class early.
  7. Any comments you have regarding the instructor and/or class should be discussed afterwards with the instructor or with the group fitness coordinator.
  8. Please return used equipment at the end of class.
  9. For your safety, interior training / sport shoes are required. For your comfort, please wear appropriate shirt and shorts or pants for group training.
  10. No shoes or socks are allowed during Body & Mind classes (Yoga, Pilates & PortDeBras). The classes are conducted barefoot for full connection and
    grounding to the floor.
  11. For hygienic reasons, a towel is required.
  12. Inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any health issues. If you feel any signs of dizziness, lack of air, fainting sensation, lower the intensity by marching on the spot or stop the effort.
  13. Drink enough water, your body needs to be hydrated during exercise. We don’t recommend drinking water during some of the Body & Mind sessions.
  1. Individuals using this facility do so at their own risk.
  2. Should you need assistance, please contact the staff.
  3. It is highly recommended that these individuals DO NOT use the sauna:
    • People under a physician’s care or with chronic health problems;
    • People under the influence of alcohol, stimulants or depressants;
    • Children under the age of 16 unless supervised by an adult.
  4. Always practice safety and courtesy to others.
  5. Report any unsafe conditions to management.
  6. Do not leave personal items to dry in the sauna.
  7. Do not use cosmetic products or skin care products in the sauna.

BEFORE USE, READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Remove clothing and jewelry and keep all valuables secured in locker.
  2. Shower before using the dry sauna.
  3. Wear towel loosely.
  4. Before entering the sauna, allow enough time to relax completely.
  5. After maximum 10 minutes spent in the sauna or when perspiration begins, leave the sauna for the same amount of time as you spent inside.
  6. Enter the sauna again and stay 5 to 10 minutes maximum.
  7. Repeat the cycle no more than 2 or 3 times.
  8. WARNING: do not exceed 30 minutes total in the sauna, excessive exposure can be harmful to your health.
  9. Some sauna bathers enjoy the ‘’steam effect’’ of splashing water on the hot sauna rocks (use only one dipper full at a time and be careful to keep clear of the steam as it rises from the stones).
  10. End with a brisk shower and rinse in cool water.
  11. Dress when completely dry and perspiration stops or chilling may result.
  1. Always practice safety and courtesy to others.
  2. Individuals should not undertake exercise routines unless they are physically qualified and have a physician’s approval to do so.
  3. Individuals using this facility do so at their own risk.
  4. It is forbidden that the following individuals to use the exercise equipment:
    • People under the influence of alcohol, stimulants or depressants;
    • People with medical problems without physician recommendation.
  5. Access is forbidden to minors aged under 16 without a membership with PT sessions.
  6. Appropriate sport attire is mandatory: sport shoes for interior, T-shirt and trousers. No street shoes or slippers are allowed.
  7. Mobile phone conversations are not allowed in the gym area.
  8. Report any unsafe conditions to the management.
  9. Do not sit on the equipment during exercise break.
  10. Use one equipment or accessory at a time and allow others to use the equipment in between your sets.
  11. Do not drop the weights when using them and gently return them on their rack when you are done using them.
  12. Wipe the equipment after your exercise.
  13. Inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have health issues. If you feel any signs of dizziness, lack of air, fainting sensation, lower the intensity by marching on the spot or stop the effort.
  14. For any assistance, please contact our staff.

  3. It is strongly recommended that the following individuals DO NOT use the steam room:
    • People under a physician’s care or with chronic health problems;
    • People under the influence of alcohol, stimulants or depressants;
    • Pregnant women;
    • Elderly people;
    • Children under the age of 16 unless supervised by an adult.
  4. Always practice safety and courtesy to others.
  5. Report any unsafe conditions to the management.
  6. Do not use cosmetic products or skin care products in the sauna.

BEFORE use, READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Remove clothing and jewelry, keep all valuables secured in locker.
  2. Shower before using the Steam Sauna.
  3. Before entering the steam room, allow enough time to relax completely.
  4. After maximum 5 minutes spent in the steam room or when perspiration begins, leave the steam room, relax in the dressing area and follow with a cool shower. Cooling time should equal the time spent in the steam room.
  5. Enter the steam room again and stay 3 to 5 minutes maximum.
  6. Repeat the cycle not more than 2 or 3 times.
  7. WARNING: do not exceed 10 minutes total in the steam room; excessive exposure can be harmful to your health.
  8. End with a brisk shower and rinse in cool water.
  9. Dress when completely dry and perspiration stops or chilling may result.
  1. Playing time: 06:15 – 22:45, Monday to Friday and 08:15 – 20:45, Saturday and Sunday.
  2. Each member is entitled to a maximum one hour advance booking per day.
  3. Advance bookings are permitted for up to 3 days.
  4. Members who are unable to turn up for their session of play must inform the reception before the playing time (one hour before).
  5. In case of no shows, the bookings hours will automatically be forfeited after 15 minutes. First come, first served.
  6. Please take note of the followings: a. No smoking / food / drinks are allowed in the court b. No marking / colored soles are allowed c. Only 2 people are permitted in the squash court at any time.
  7. Members will be held responsible for any damage caused by their guests or themselves. Any damage caused by the previous players must be reported to the Management immediately before beginning the game to avoid a penalty.
  8. Please return the equipment to the reception in the same condition that you recieved, otherwise you will have to pay for damages.
