
Why lifting weights isn’t just for men

Are you the kind of woman who doesn’t have the courage to go into the weight room? Well, you are not the only one, most women find the weight room to be very intimidating and they consider it’s not the place for them. Usually, in the weight room we find more men than women, and most females have misconceptions about working with weights. But, the reality is different: weight room is necessary for both men and women! In order to develop a beautiful and harmonious body, is necessary for women to do from time to time exercises that involve lifting weights.
Below are four reasons to make you not to miss the gym
1. You will be stronger
What woman would not want to be stronger? During exercises with weights the muscle develops small ruptures in fiber. During rest breaks these small muscles ruptures recover and gives to muscle mass more power and volume. We know that you don’t want some large and very large muscles, so you are advised to use small weights. Using smaller weights will provide you more elongated muscles and less bulky ones.
Lifting small weights will train your muscles, especially your arms and back.
2. You get rid of fat much more easier
Most women do cardio type exercises to lose fat. It’s proved that lifting weights burns more calories than cardio exercises. Each gram of muscle gained, means a quantity of burned fat! You should also be aware that fat doesn’t deposit only on the buttocks, thighs and abdomen but also on the arms. This can be easily avoided by including in your program a few exercises with weights.
3. Lifting weights can ward off diseases
By lifting weights you can reduce the risk of diabetes, heart disease and osteoporosis. Bone density will increase by 10-15% in several months, a process that can be helped by supplements of calcium and vitamin D to fix it. Strength training lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, which helps protect the heart.
4. Beautify breasts
A weapon of feminine beauty is the breasts. Regardless of their size, their appearance is important. We must learn to maintain the beauty and naturalness of the breasts, and always keep them toned. As we all know, breasts are made up of adipose tissue and mammary glands, which is why the pectoral muscles which are naturally supporting them are charged with difficult responsibility. Exercises with weights help maintain bust firmness and tone upper muscles of the chest.
